Frequently Asked Questions

Indian citizens do not need a visa to visit Thailand. Still, as of May 1, 2025, the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is mandatory for all Indian travellers entering Thailand and must be completed online before arrival.

Indians planning to work, study, or do business in Thailand must apply for the appropriate Non-Immigrant visa before travelling. This requires submitting extra documentation, such as sponsorship letters, contracts, or enrollment letters (depending on the purpose of your visit) at the embassy.

No, if your layover is less than 12 hours and you stay within the international transit area without clearing immigration, you do not need a transit visa. However, if your layover exceeds 12 hours or you plan to leave the transit area, you must obtain the appropriate visa or fill out the TDAC accordingly.

Failing to submit the TDAC in advance may cause delays at immigration and could result in denied entry. It’s strongly advised to complete it before you travel.

Here are the Thailand Digital Arrival Card requirements for Indians:

  • Passport (with validity, not less than 6 months)

  • Flight or travel details

  • Accomodation details

I got my TDAC through Axisvisaservices. They were immensely helpful and guided me through the process. Their experts also helped me with other questions as my itinerary included traveling to a separate location in a different country and there were two entries to Thailand.

I am frequent user of Axisvisaservices App I got my Thailand, Singapore, Turkey and now UK. They have a highly professional team for every step. I was told in my Hometown that I will get 100% refusal for UK with my profile but when I contacted Atlys I got hopes. Sheetal maam helped me in each and every step and guided me. She was always quick in her response whenever I had any query. The whole process went so smooth
